Friday Wrap Up

We had a special zoom meeting story time with a host from CBC Kids, Tony! - We played a funny game and read us "Paddington the Magician"
English Language Arts
- Focus on explicit practice and learning of weekly sight words
- Picture prompts and sentence starters anchor chart - we are going to be starting simple story writing
Math
- Representing double digit numbers multiple ways
- Open-ended word problems
- Addition with sums up to 10, bridging into sums up to 20
Science
- Review of our five senses
- Introduction to animal senses and how animals change their appearance/prepare for seasonal changes
Social
- Rights and Responsibilities - introduction - what are my rights as a child? What are my responsibilities
